2012 is here!

Happy New Year everyone!

This afternoon I decided to start a 365 project where I take a photo each day! Hopefully this will help improve my photography skills because I'd like to take better photos!

It's been very hot here lately (and tomorrow is going to be even hotter!) so I've been sitting inside with the air conditioning on crocheting and soon I'll put some of the things I've made up on our etsy shop which will be up and running very soon!! If you look at the photo of Saffy above closely, you might be able to see a bit of one of my new hat designs!! :D

Meet Saffron Blue!!

After a lot of thinking and name suggesting over the past few days, earlier this afternoon my Mum came up with the name Saffron, Saffy for short. I really liked it and looked it up on the internet and the description of the colour saffron is a goldie-yellow colour.

Then later on we went to my grandparents' house and my Grandad called her Rusty and then said that sometimes Aussies call redheads Bluey or Blue. So that's how the name Saffron Blue came about! :)



In the next few days I'm going to do a post about my graduation and last few days at Primary School!


P.S. Today and yesterday my Mum has been making things for my friends and she experimented by making this really cute bubble dress that we MIGHT sell in our soon-to-be etsy shop!!! :D

Merry Christmas!

Hello!

It's seems like a long time ago since I last posted. I've been really busy at school because I've just finished grade 6 and have been busy with graduation and end of school stuff, but I'll post about that later.

Anyway, Merry Christmas!! On Sunday morning my family and I woke up to a loud thunder boom and decided to get up and open presents. Here are some of my favourites! -

A new Blythe doll - Cloud 9 Bowl!



I'm trying to think of a good name for her but at the moment I can't decide!



A china owl from my Aunty, Uncle and cousins!



A red Gumboots watch from my friend Mia!



And some Sue Sensi bracelets from my sisters!



Every year, on the first day of December we put up our Christmas tree, but we also have Christmas countdown stockings that my Mum made a few years ago.

Each day my Mum writes a little rhyme and puts it in the stocking. The rhyme could be about making some gingerbread and my Mum might give us some new Christmas cookie cutters, or even a new wii game! My favourite stocking was when we went to buy a new ornament. One day when my sisters and I leave home, we can take all of our ornaments to put on our own trees. I bought a big glass owl -

Tomorrow I'm going to post about my last week of school which includes my graduation and saying goodbyes on the oval. It was really sad :(



P.S. I'd like to apologise to a few people who have been waiting for me to send them a parcel. Over the holidays I'm going to finish them off and send them to you guys but I'm sorry that you've had to wait so long.

Mail from La Boutique de Lupi!!!

Hello!!!

About a week ago, I got a parcel in the mail!!! It was the La Boutique de Lupi outfit that we'd ordered for my Blythe doll, Velvet!!





I was SO excited!!!!

So, here it is!!



Velvet loves her new outfit... she might even wear it to a few Christmas parties ;D



Can you believe that it's all been hand sewn!!! It's SO neat!!! :D

Hello!!!

Today I went to the market with my family and we found this little shop called Exquisite and it sold lots of things such as china figurines, dolls house furniture and kimmi junior accessories, but most of all, it sold REMENT!!!!

There was SO much to choose from but I chose a little china owl -

and a little jar of lollies!!



It's so cool because you can actually take the lollies out! Sadly, you can't eat them though :D

Lucinda also got some things - a little Gollywog doll and a jar of lollies as well!
